Homeschool Consultation: Traditional

Service Description

Meet live with an experienced Florida home educator live via Zoom (use video or audio-only, your choice). Others are welcome to attend this meeting with you, and older students in particular are encouraged to attend. This service is recommended for receiving information, reviewing goals, seeking solutions, needing encouragement, and asking questions about several different issues. This session is appropriate for newcomers to Florida home education and for those moving to Florida from another state; or, for experienced home educators seeking new insights or fresh ideas. This session is also appropriate for discussing concerns about things happening in a district or county, transitioning to or from public or private school, moving a home education program from one place to another, graduating a student, or understanding how to navigate the laws and procedures. This service is open to FLHSA members and to the general public.

Cancellation Policy

This section explains all REFUNDS, CANCELATIONS, TERMS and CONDITIONS. Guidance counselors take considerable time preparing for your appointment, therefore we do not allow cancelations/changes to appointments within 72 hours of scheduled meetings. Should you have an urgent reason to cancel within the 72 hour window, FLHSA will consider refund requests on a discretionary basis; however, please be aware these often incur unavoidable administrative fees. By purchasing a service and participating in this activity, you consent to any applicable rules, terms or conditions set forth by the Florida Homeschool Association (FLHSA) for this experience. If you refuse to purchase this service, you will not be permitted to participate in the consultation. You understand this booking and service will be performed to the best of FLHSA's ability using the best information they have available at the time, but this service comes with no guarantees, either explicit or implied, and may also expose you or your family to certain risks. You assume any such risk that may arise therefrom, and accept full responsibility for all consequences, including expenses for any injuries or circumstances that might occur to yourself or your family members by reason of your participation or any consequences of statutory or educational decisions made on the basis of information obtained during the consultation.
